PEACE ALLIANCE WINNIPEG Peace Alliance Winnipeg is committed to developing a broad movement for peace in our city. It organizes actions and educational events to promote an understanding of the events which are shaping our world.

PROJECT PLOUGHSHARES Our 'parent' organization, Project Ploughshares operates under the belief, shared by all of our sponsoring churches, that war is to be and can be avoided, that the use of force in national and international relations is to be minimized, that conflict is to be resolved as much as possible in the interests of justice and without resort to violence, that the use or threat of use of nuclear weapons cannot be justified under any circumstances and are contrary to the will of God, and that scarce resources are to be used for human development rather than for arms and the build-up of the capacity to destroy.

CANADIAN PEACE ALLIANCE The Canadian Peace Alliance (CPA) is Canada's largest umbrella peace organization. Since its foundation in 1985 the organization has been helping member groups to act as a broad network, in order to provide a strong, coordinated voice for peace issues at the national level.

KAIROS KAIROS: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives is a web of people and partnerships dedicated to a faithful and decisive response to God’s call for respect for the earth and justice for its people. A faith-based ecumenical organization, inspired by a vision of God’s compassionate justice, KAIROS effects social change through advocacy, education and research programs in: Ecological Justice, Economic Justice, Energy and Extraction, Human Rights, Just and Sustainable Livelihoods, and Indigenous Peoples. These programs are informed by, and networked with, approximately 21 partner organisations in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East; about eighty local grassroots groups across Canada; as well as with countless other organizations, churches and individuals.

CANADIAN SCHOOL OF PEACEBUILDING The Canadian School of Peacebuilding (CSOP), an institute of Canadian Mennonite University, offers a selection of 5-day courses each June. Courses can be taken for professional or personal development or for academic credit. The CSOP is a learning community of diverse peacebuilders who come together to learn, network and engage in peacebuilding.
